Rett Syndrome Association of Australia
The Rett Syndrome Association of Australia Inc. (RSAA) is a not-for-profit organisation which is managed by a Committee of volunteers, most of whom are parents of children with Rett syndrome. Deathrow Unchained Animal Sanctuary Deathrow are an animal rescue that saves abused, neglected and abandoned animals of all kinds. They are open to the public for tours and also work closely with our community, running animal therapeutic programs. These focus on disabilities, mental health and victims of violence. Royal Flying Doctors As a not-for-profit aeromedical organisation, The Royal Flying Doctor Service brings emergency and essential health care to some of the most remote parts of Australia. Brisbane Youth Service Brisbane Youth Service supports homeless and vulnerable young people (aged 12–25 years) and their children, to secure and maintain housing. |

RMHC Australia helps keep families together and close to the care of their children. Starlight Foundation Starlight know that happiness matters to sick kids facing the pain, fear and stress of serious illness. That’s why they work in partnership with health professionals to bring the fun, joy and laughter that is essential to sick kids’ health and wellbeing. Twinnies Pelican and Seabird Rescue Run by twin sisters Bridgette and Paula (“the Twinnies”), this volunteer-powered Sunshine Coast rescue has been saving, rehabilitating and releasing injured, sick and orphaned pelicans, seabirds and shorebirds for over 20 years. From fishing-line entanglements to starving chicks, every bird gets dedicated care until it can fly free again. Australian Entomological Society Like biodiversity generally, insects are threatened by land clearing, introduced predators and climate change. Some are on the brink of extinction. |
